Record Your Song...Online!

 So...ummm...how's it work...?

• Send us a quick email about your song(s), and we'll send you a cost estimate
• If you agree, we'll prepare a rough outline of the song, usually just a simple piano or guitar with a vocal scratch track, and email it to you for review
• Once you approve the basic arrangement, we'll start adding in instruments, both electronic and live instruments, and send you a rough mix
• Once the final arrangement is approved, we'll produce a final instrumental mix for you to add your own vocals, or have one of our professional studio vocalists add lead and/or background vocals
• Once the final mix is approved, we'll provide a high quality, uncompressed version of the track available for download, whereupon you sit back and bask in the warmth of your own creative juices

Right now my song is just an idea...what do I send you?
Doesn't matter what stage the song is, a few scratched lines on a napkin, a melody or groove sung into a cell phone, or a fairly well developed home recording, we can help you get it across the finish line.  If your strength is in turning a phrase, we can come up with a melody, or set your melody to music. If you are only providing lyrics, a reference song in a similar style is very helpful. 

But...how do I add my vocals...?
If you would like to sing on the track, we will send you an instrumental track which you can use to record your own vocals with a home setup or through a local studio. At that point, you may decide to mix it yourself, or send us the digital vocal tracks, and we'll ensure you get a radio quality final mix. 

Well, truth is I'm not much of a singer...
No problem, we've got you covered. We can provide a professional studio vocalist in any style, or add backing vocals to your lead track. 

Alright chief, so just how much is this going to cost me?
Projects are quoted on a case by case basis, and the price varies depending on many factors such as how "record ready" is the song, the number of desired instruments, the number of live musicians required, whether we are providing a vocalist, etc. But bottom line, a simple arrangement can cost as little as ~$350. And we also offer volume discounts, so the more you record with us, the more you save. Regardless of the total, a $150 downpayment is required to initiate the process.

Do you use live musicians?
It depends on the song; we often end up using 2-3 live musicians on a typical track, but certain styles, such as electronica or hip hop don't require any. Our electronic instrumentation is state of the art, but when live instruments are required, we have a large talent pool of fantastic studio musicians available.
